This is how Adam typically finds Abigail after her naps.

Marching Right Along

Abigail just keeps growing up. She has one tooth, just one, on the bottom left. She can now wave bye-bye and sign for milk. She can also get down from a sitting position and back up to a sitting position. She has started to pull herself up to a standing position, and even let go of my hands Friday and took 3 steps away. She crawls everywhere. It used to be that she wanted to hold onto our hands and walk and jump around. Now she pulls herself away from us so she can scoot around on the floor and do her own thing. She has begun to mimic the things we do and say also. One day she decided to play peak-a-boo with us. Except we don't play by covering our hands, we play by hiding behind something (such as a wall) and then reappearing. So she hid behind the bar of her play pen and repeatedly peaked out at us. She sent herself into a giggling fit. She has recently expressed interest in the cat as well. Below are some random pictures from this month.

Crashed! She still enjoys her reflection. She also loves to play with the sink faucet. This can make giving her a bath difficult some times. Dressed for church one Sunday. A different Sunday, in her crib. Sitting on the couch. We put Abigail in her jumper while we were working on the base board and chair rail in our room. She spun herself around until the cord was tight, then lifted her feet and let the swing unwind. It was entertaining for all of us. After dinner today, still dressed for church. Imitating us. ROAR! After several nice weeks, the weather turned cold again. Breez's birthday party was outside at a park and the wind was awful. We borrowed this jacket from Elliot. Abigail was ready for her skateboard debut. Breez, Isabel, and 2 of Breez's friends. One of her friends was actually a student in my school. Her mother teaches first grade 2 doors down from me. Such a small world.

Pictures from Diaz Elementary Literacy Night Adam participates in an impromptu readers theater in front of parents and students. Ms. Payne, dressed as the Cat in the Hat, visited my room twice to hold Abby and Max for pictures. Two of the kindergarten teachers dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 with Ms. Payne. They visited students throughout the evening.

The event was during Abby's dinner time so Adam fed her in my classroom where I was hosting reading BINGO.
