Abigail's Fun

My mom came to visit us over President's day weekend. On Monday, she took Abigail and I to the Las Vegas Zoo. The zoo is quite small, only 3 acres. There were quite a few animals (in small cages, or roaming free) to see though. Some none of us had seen before, such as a Wallabee.

Up close and personal with this large prehistoric bird.

The peacock and hens were just roaming the park. This guy was showing off for a few of his lady friends.

A wallabee. There was a large family of at least a dozen, including a baby.

Abigail spent most of her time in the stroller just taking in the sights. She was most interested in the pigeons.

Grandma and Abby rest on the elephant statue.

Abigail playing on her floor one morning. I took her clothes off to make it easier for her to attempt crawling. In the video below she goes after her pacifier.

Abigail rolled/crawled away from her Papa during a diaper change.

Abigal after eating chili, grated carrots, and corn bread for dinner. She really enjoyed herself.

Happy...new year?

Alright, so 1/8 of the new year is already over. But Happy New Year anyway! It's been a very busy new year for us since we moved to our new house. Here are some photos we snapped this year.

Abigail discovered her shadow.

Adam and Abigail bundled up together for one last walk at our old home.

Abigail enjoying blueberry pancakes.

Sleeping in her new room

Posing for the camera. Look how well I sit.

Playing with Papa. See the curls.

Eating Cheerios

She had a hard time waking up from her nap.

Next is a series of photos from a trip to the park we took a couple weeks ago with our friend Amanda, her son Max, and her neice Harmony. Abigail was a lot more interested in Harmony, who is nearly two, than she was in little Max.

Such a big girl, going down the slide alone.

Behind bars, right where they all belong.

They all look so thrilled. We were taking pictures of Abby and Max and Harmony thought she needed to be in the pictures too.

Abigail checks out Max later that night.

Abigail ready for a morning jog. She looked like she was ready for a gymastics meet or something.

Waiting for Mommy to get ready for work.

8 months old already. 29 inches and 18 pounds.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Smile for the camera, sorta.

Adam took this picture when I was at work one day with his phone and texted it to me.
