Winter 2014

The weather has been very beautiful lately. January was unseasonably warm. February started off a little chilly with a bit of rain, but it only last a couple of days. The temperatures have been in the 70's most of the month. It's ridiculous! Here are some pictures from this month.

Adam took this photo of Ethan, and I love it!

Abigail has a cold, from school. She's currently sharing it with her poor brother. On Wednesday this week she was coughing so much that we decided at the last minute to not allow her to go to school. So I stayed home with the kids. After nap time, we played in Abigail's room for a while. The kids were in mostly good spirits and were being kind of cute, so I went to get the camera.

Ethan wasn't feeling sick yet.

At school we were celebrating Nevada Reading Week with some dress up days. Thursday was Crazy Hair Day. I was putting some of Abigail's hair clips in my hair that morning when she exclaimed, "Hey those are mine!" I explained about crazy hair, and she announced that she needed crazy hair too.

I took this picture today. I have no idea why it's sideways, it isn't that way in my file.

Christmas Break

We spent most of our Christmas break in Washington visiting my family. It was very  nice to spend Christmas with our family. The weather was cold and miserable though. I swear the sun did not shine the entire 10 days we were there.

If you click on the first picture you can get a larger view and scroll through the pictures. My commentary will be cut out though.
On Sunday before Christmas my niece and nephew visited. Here are my parents with all of their grandkids.

This is how you open presents from Santa when you're 8 months old

At three you have a more practical approach, just tear off the paper and grab another present

What a pretty little package

A Christmas party at my Grandma Louise's house. All of her great grandchildren were present.

We returned to beautiful, spring like, weather. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard while Adam and I did some clean up work.
Look Ma, No Jacket!

He's just too darn cute

Abigail was 3 in June. With the start of the new year she moved to the Sun Beams class at church and the Jade Room at school. She was very excited to be a part of the big kid classes for both.
