Abigail is 2!

Happy Birthday, Abigail! Abigail turned 2 on June 12, 2012. We celebrated her birthday last Saturday with a barbecue in our backyard.
Dressed for the party

Abigail loves hotdogs, so they were the perfect lunch choice

The cake I made Abigail. I really wanted to do the woods, but I could not find plastic trees anywhere. Pooh and his friends had a picnic in honor of Abigail's birthday instead.

Present time! Abigail wanted to play with her presents, not open them. We had this problem at Christmas too. She saw no reason to open more when she had a new toy in front of her.

Swim Time! Adam and the kids went swimming in the pool. Then a very tired Abigail took a nap.

Because she was so distracted, Abigail didn't finish opening her presents. So after her nap, Abigail opened the presents from her Great Grandma Louise, a beautiful Raggedy Anne dolly and blanket.

Later Abigail opened the trike my mother got her. She also read the card. "Ooh, present, ooh, present..." That's what she's saying at the begining.

Spring Break

During spring break we went to Disneyland again. We only have one more trip planned before our passes expire. Abigail was a lot of fun during the trip as she understood more of what was going on. She rode the roller coaster in Toontown 4 times. She loved it and kept asking to go again. She would say, "Whoa, whoa!" It was cute.

Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures taken over the last few months. Our good camera is still broken, but it turned out that our old one still works okay. Abigail can be kind of hard to photograph as she doesn't stay still for long and often tries to get the camera.

Adam bought Abigail some nail polish at the dollar store. I came home from work one day and she had yellow and blue toenails. A few Sunday night's ago, he repainted them.

Some of Abigail's favorite toys: her tea set, her doll house, and Pooh bear

Abigail wasn't feeling well, so she just laid down next to her blocks. Usually she doesn't stay still for that long.

Adam and I went to Disneyland by ourselves again, for just one night in January. We had a good time.

 Abigail's Hair
Abigail's hair has been growing a lot lately. It seems like one day I could barely make small pigtails on the top of her head, and now I can pull all of her hair up at once. I love how her hair curls in the back too.

Christmas

I know it was a long time ago, but here are some pictures from Christmas.
