We went to the doctors today, and our doctor was actually there this time. She did a vaginal ultra sound, and we were able to see our growing baby with a strong heart beat. This was very exciting for both of us. She printed a picture for us. You can clearly see the baby's head at the top of the picture. If you look closely you can see how it is bent over leaning against the chest, and you can just make out the line between head and chest. The baby measured just under an inch. The original assessment of 8 weeks and 6 days was supported by the baby's growth. The expected due date is still June 10, 2010.
